Argyll House is a modern detached villa situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with views of Loch Linnhe, Loch Eil and the Ardgour Hills. Private car parking is available and we complete the scene with free WiFi internet access in all rooms and remote control colour television.

Conveniently located above the town centre of Fort William, the local bus and train services are within a 15 minute walking distance from Argyll House.

Fort William is approximately 1½ hours drive from Inverness Airport and 2½ hours drive from Glasgow Airport and, as the Outdoors Capital of the United Kingdom, offers beautiful scenery and activities such as mountaineering, hill walking, cycling and skiing.

Within driving distance guests can enjoy the natural beauty of Glen Nevis, the Great Glen and the Jacobite Trail to Glenfinnan.

Argyll House offers guests a warm welcome and is well equipped to provide a comfortable and hospitable stay, all rooms are furnished to a high standard having full en-suite facilities with central heating throughout. After a hearty Scottish breakfast guests will be ready to sample the beautiful scenery and activities Lochaber and the West Highlands has to offer.

We have something quite special on our door step! It's the famed railway track where Harry Potter was filmed. The steam train still runs in the summer on a daily basis from Fort William to Mallaig and back.

In the Highlands we have an abundance of interesting things to do and see, such as Neptune Staircase, the highest mountain in the UK, the Ben Nevis, the Nevis Falls, The Commando Memorial, and don't forget the Jacobite monument at Glenfinnan this is where the standard was raised for the landing of Bonnie Prince Charlie as he mustered his army for the 1745 rebellion.

How To Find Us

Arriving from the South - Take the last exit out of the entrance roundabout at the West End Hotel up the hill at Lundavra Road. Then take the second on the left into Argyll Terrace then the first right into Hillside Estate and Argyll House is located at the end of the next right.

Arriving from the North take the Bypass around Fort William to the exit roundabout at the West End Hotel. Follow the second roundabout exit up the hill at Lundavra Road. Then take the second on the left into Argyll Terrace then the first right into Hillside Estate and Argyll House is located at the end of the next right.
